Braxton is involved in many aspects of improving sexual health and education and has over 160 hours of post-graduate sex therapy training from renowned sex therapists from around the world. He sees teens, couples, and adults at The Healing Group in Salt Lake City, Utah. Clients primarily seek him for issues pertaining to feeling “out of control” with their sexual behaviors or emotions and report experiencing quick connection, nonjudgment, and safety to explore their sexual dilemmas. Braxton has a passion working with members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. A native Utahan Braxton has grown up with Mormon culture, interactions, and has a deep understanding of issues that pertain specifically to Mormons and sexuality. He works with members, those transitioning and non-members of the LDS faith.

Braxton is certified as a Mind Body Bridging Therapist (MBBT). He went through a year certification program at the University of Utah. Mind Body Bridging is an empirically based method for addressing issues in emotional regulation, sleep, and overall mental wellness.

He hosts the popular sexual health podcast: “Birds and Bees Podcast,” which provides education for couples and parents about the entire spectrum of sexual health topics.  He frequently teaches in the human sexuality masters class at the University of Utah, and he is writing a book to help parents address pornography use with their children: “The 3 C’s—Why Your Children Are Looking at Pornography.
